A MESSAGE TO OUR CUSTOMERS
First and foremost, the safety of our customers and employees is our first and greatest priority. At this time, the FDA has stated the following regarding food and COVID-19:
"Currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with the transmission of COVID-19. The FDA advises everyday safe food handling and hygiene practices to avoid foodborne illness."
Thyme & Honey shares global concerns over the spread and impact on public health of coronavirus. We take our responsibility for our employees and to the communities in which we operate seriously and continue to follow the advice of public health organizations and diligently following CDC guidelines in relation to food handling, as we always do. During this time we are also making sure of:
Increasing the frequency of our cleaning practices and decontamination procedures within our kitchens and meal prep areas
Offering contact-free options whenever possible for deliveries and catering events
Limiting guest interaction for catered events and proving ample time and space for setup and take-down and maintaining at least 6ft from our clients and their guests whenever possible
Wearing masks and gloves for deliveries, setup, catering events, and workshop
Increased presence and use of hand sanitizers and soap
All staff members have been advised not to report to work and seek medical attention if experiencing any flu-like symptoms or have come in contact with affected individuals.
For catering events or anyone we come in contact with during this time, we ask that all our customers and their guests follow normal preventative practices to keep themselves and others safe. If you have an upcoming event or catering contract with us and need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible, as to not waste any food during this crucial time.
